Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Our website address is: https://newtoxicwap.org/.

At NewToxicWap, formerly known as ToxicWap, we value the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit our website, how that information may be used, and the choices available to you.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on our website, we collect the information displayed in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam and protect the website.

An anonymised string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine whether you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available on its website. After your comment is approved, your profile picture, if applicable, may be visible publicly alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to our website, we recommend avoiding images that contain embedded location data, such as EXIF GPS information. Visitors may be able to download images from the website and extract any location information stored within them.

Cookies

NewToxicWap may use cookies to improve website functionality, maintain security, and enhance the browsing experience.

If you leave a comment on our website, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are intended to make future comments more convenient and may last for up to one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie may be set to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, cookies may be used to save your login information and screen display preferences. Login cookies may last for two days, while screen preference cookies may last for one year. Selecting “Remember Me” may keep you logged in for up to two weeks. Logging out removes the relevant login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie may be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and records the ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.

Cookie behaviour may vary depending on the features, plugins, and services enabled on our website.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Articles and pages on NewToxicWap may include embedded content, such as videos, images, or articles from third-party websites.

Embedded content from other websites behaves in much the same way as if you visited those websites directly. These third-party services may collect information about you, use cookies, implement tracking technologies, and monitor your interactions with their content.

If you are logged in to a third-party website, that service may associate your interaction with your account. We encourage visitors to review the privacy policies of external websites to understand their data collection and processing practices.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not share personal information unnecessarily. However, certain information may be processed by services that help us operate, secure, and maintain our website.

For example, if you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the password reset email.

Information may also be processed by spam detection tools, website security services, hosting providers, analytics tools, advertising partners, or other third-party services where these are enabled on our website.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata may be retained indefinitely. This helps us recognise and automatically approve follow-up comments instead of holding them for moderation.

For users who register on our website, if registration is available, we store the personal information provided in their user profiles.

Registered users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except for their usernames where these cannot be changed. Website administrators may also access and edit user profile information when necessary for website administration.

Some information may be retained for longer where required or permitted for legitimate operational, security, or legal purposes.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

Depending on the applicable law, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, receive a copy of that information, request corrections, or ask us to delete it.

If you have an account on NewToxicWap or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including information you have provided.

You may also request the deletion of personal information, except for data we are required or permitted to retain for administrative, legal, security, or other legitimate purposes.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact us through the contact details provided on our website.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Depending on the services enabled on our website, certain information may also be processed by hosting providers, security services, analytics tools, advertising partners, or other third-party providers.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable laws. Information may also be processed in countries other than the country in which you live, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, services, data practices, or applicable legal requirements. Any updates will be published on this page.

Visitors are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed about our privacy practices.
